New Power Yoga Coming Soon to SPI

Starting Friday October, 10th at 6:30 P.M. SPI will be launching a new Power Yoga class that will run every friday!

This program will be led by Rebecca Kearns. Below is a brief bio on her training, fitness, and yoga experience:

Rebecca Kearns has always had a passion for health and wellness and  
holds a B.S. in Exercise Science from Columbus State University,  
Georgia. She’s been a dedicated yoga student for over 20 years and  
has been teaching the of yoga for 3 years. As the wife of a US Army  
soldier, Rebecca had the opportunity to develop a yoga based class  
that pulled heavily from the criteria of the Army Physical Readiness  
Training program. She successfully implemented this class to over  
100 soldiers resulting in increased APFT scores as well as mental  
resiliency. Rebecca is a certified worksite wellness specialist and  
works locally as a wellness coordinator. She is also working on  
completing her CEES (certified ergonomic evaluation specialist) and  
is sitting for the ACSM Health Fitness Specialist exam this fall.

Rebecca will admit she’s very high energy and tells her students  
flat out “you will not get your zen on in my class” as she pushes  
you to explore the movement of your body, challenging you to find,  
embrace and then work past your boundaries.

SPI Combat Slight Schedule Change

Slight schedule change for #spicombat for the remainder of the month of September.

Mondays and Wednesdays will now be youth and high school wrestling from 4:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. and then adult training from 5:00 P.M. – 6:00 P.M.

Fridays will still be open mat training all ages and styles from 3:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. and Saturdays 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M.
