Physical Therapy

The Physical Therapists at RMPT offer some of the latest cutting edge forms of assessment and treatment to help facilitate optimal results. We emphasize a hands-on approach including whole body and joint specific bio-mechanical assessments which allows us to address muscle imbalances, joint mobility limitations and movement impairments that are limiting your performance. We are then able to provide you with an individualized rehabilitation program to help achieve your goals.

We implement many of the latest forms of assessment and treatment including:

-Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM)

-Cupping

-Kinesiology Taping

-Joint mobilization and manipulation of the spine and extremities

-Muscle energy techniques

-Static and dynamic soft tissue release techniques

-Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)

-McKenzie mechanical diagnosis and treatment of the spine and extremities

-Vestibular assessment and treatment

We also offer non-traditional forms of treatment including:

-Suspension training – this form of body weight strengthening helps stabilize the core and extremities in an unstable environment

-Kettlebell training- allows for more ways to challenge your core and extremities than traditional dumbbells and resistance bands

-Medicine ball training- for development of muscular power and dynamic joint stability

-Orthopedic injuries of the extremities

-Sports related injuries

-Orthopedic and Neurological conditions of the spine
